National Restoration
Our Process

From First Call to Warranty: Our Restoration Process

National Restoration runs every project on a structured, documented process — free inspection, Xactimate scope, adjuster coordination, installation to manufacturer spec, and a written warranty at close-out. You know what is happening at every stage, and you have one project manager accountable throughout.

No Surprise Costs

The only out-of-pocket cost for you is typically your policy deductible – the insurance covers the rest of the approved work.

Quality Repairs

All work is completed by our licensed, bonded, and insured team using high-quality materials.

24/7 Emergency Response

Our rapid response team is available around the clock to secure your property and begin restoration immediately.

7 Steps

From First Call to Warranty

1

Free Inspection with Photo Documentation

Every engagement begins with a no-cost, no-obligation on-site inspection. A experienced inspectors assesses your property, photographs all damage conditions, records measurements, and distinguishes storm-related damage from pre-existing wear.

Ground-level and rooftop inspection with systematic photo documentation at each damage point

Drone imagery used where roof geometry or safety conditions require aerial perspective

Moisture mapping on flat and low-slope roofs to identify hidden infiltration beneath the surface

Damage categorized by cause (hail, wind, impact, age) to support accurate claim filing

24/7 emergency response available — tarping and board-up dispatched same day for open exposures

2

Scope Development & Estimate

After the inspection, our estimating team builds a detailed scope matched to your situation. Insurance claims receive an Xactimate estimate in the format carriers and adjusters expect. Retail projects receive a line-item estimate covering every cost component.

Xactimate estimate for insurance claims: formatted to match adjuster review and carrier pricing databases

Line-item retail estimate includes materials, labor, underlayment, flashings, ventilation, and disposal

Material specifications listed by manufacturer, product line, and color option

Scope of work clearly separates primary damage repairs from optional upgrades or enhancements

Written estimate delivered before any contract is signed — no verbal pricing

3

Adjuster Coordination

For insurance claims, our project manager attends the on-site inspection with your insurance adjuster to walk the damage together and provide our documentation package. Our role is to document damage thoroughly so your insurance file is complete.

On-site presence at the inspection upon your request — no additional cost

Our inspector and your insurance adjuster walk all damage areas identified in our initial report together

Documentation package provided: photos, measurements, and Xactimate scope for adjuster reference

Supplemental items submitted when additional damage is identified after tear-off or during restoration

We do not take a percentage of your settlement — compensation is the restoration contract

4

Proposal, Contract & Scheduling

Once scope and pricing are confirmed, you receive a clear written contract that specifies every material, the installation standard, the project timeline, and the warranty terms.

Contract lists: scope of work, material manufacturer and product, timeline, payment schedule, and warranty terms

We coordinate with local code authorities as required for the work

Material ordered after contract execution — lead times communicated in writing

Project schedule confirmed with you before crew mobilization

HOA and historic district submittals handled where applicable

5

Installation with Site Protection

Crews arrive on the confirmed date, protect your property throughout the installation, work to manufacturer specifications, and leave the site clean at the end of each day. Most residential roof replacements complete in one to two days, weather permitting.

Landscaping, walkways, and driveways tarped and protected before tear-off begins

Installation performed to manufacturer specification — required for extended warranty eligibility

All OSHA fall-protection and site-safety standards observed throughout the project

Magnetic nail sweep conducted at the end of each work day across all ground areas

Daily cleanup: debris removed, materials staged neatly, access points kept clear

6

Final Walkthrough & Warranty Documentation

Before final payment, we conduct a formal walkthrough and build a punch list together. Every item on the list is resolved before the project is closed out. Warranty documents — workmanship and manufacturer — are delivered in your close-out package.

Formal walkthrough with your project manager: inspect every repair, elevation, and detail together

Punch-list items addressed before close-out — no final invoice until you sign off

5-year workmanship warranty on roofing and exterior envelope scopes, in writing (longer terms available with system upgrades)

Manufacturer product warranties registered in your name and included in your close-out package — material warranty varies by product tier selected at proposal

Warranties are transferable to a new owner on most scopes — adds documented value at resale

7

Ongoing Maintenance & Warranty Support

Our relationship does not end at close-out. Warranty claims are handled by a dedicated coordinator, and we offer maintenance inspections to protect your investment and extend the service life of your roof or exterior system.

Warranty claims: call our office and a coordinator schedules a review — no runaround

Annual maintenance inspection available to catch early-stage issues before they become claims

Post-storm inspection available to document new damage separate from prior work

Priority scheduling for past clients on new scopes or emergency response

Maintenance guidance provided at close-out for every major scope we complete
