Regional Expertise

Built for Each Region We Serve

Roofing and siding work is local. Material selection, code compliance, and installation technique all vary with climate, architectural tradition, and municipal requirements. National Restoration maintains regional teams across the Washington D.C. Metro corridor, Atlanta, and Ohio — each trained on the conditions specific to their market.

In the mid-Atlantic we navigate Northern Virginia's historic preservation overlays and Maryland HOA guidelines. In the Southeast we account for Georgia's pine-belt wind loads and brick-ranch construction. In the Midwest we engineer for freeze-thaw cycling and mature-canopy hail exposure.

Every region also has a dedicated storm-response capability. When severe weather strikes a market we serve, crews and materials are staged locally — not shipped in from another state.

Where We Work

Each region below links to a dedicated page with local project types, material guidance, and coverage details specific to that market.

Atlanta service region
Atlanta

Serving Atlanta, Marietta, Alpharetta, and surrounding metro communities. The Atlanta region combines brick-ranch and Craftsman housing stock with Georgia's pine-belt storm exposure — including summer hail, high-wind events, and occasional ice storms that stress attic ventilation and roof decking differently than northern climates.

Our Atlanta team is familiar with Georgia building codes and the shingle and flat-roof systems common to Southern vernacular construction. Insurance restoration is a core competency given the region's active storm season.

Washington DC Metro service region
Washington D.C. Metro

Serving Washington D.C., Northern Virginia (Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun), and the Maryland suburbs (Montgomery, Prince George's, Anne Arundel). The DC Metro corridor is our primary active market, with hundreds of roofing and siding projects completed across Northern Virginia and Maryland.

Colonial-Federal and mid-century cape-cod homes are common throughout the region, many subject to HOA review or historic-preservation overlay requirements. Our team holds experience navigating the building departments in Fairfax, Montgomery, and Prince George's, and selecting materials that satisfy both code and architectural review boards.

Ohio service region
Ohio

Serving the Cleveland and Columbus corridors and surrounding communities. Ohio's climate imposes hard demands on exterior systems: freeze-thaw cycling that degrades flashing and caulk joints, mature oak canopy that channels hail and debris onto roof planes, and lake-effect snow loads in the northern part of the state.

Midwestern frame homes — ranging from late-Victorian to 1960s ranch — typically require careful ice-dam prevention detailing, enhanced underlayment, and siding products rated for wide temperature swings. Our Ohio crews are versed in the specific code cycles adopted by Cuyahoga and Franklin counties.

Storm Response

Regional Storm-Response Capability

When a named storm, severe hail event, or derecho moves through one of our markets, our regional teams are already in position — not traveling from another state. This local staging means faster tarp-and-secure response, shorter lead times on full replacements, and crews who already know local code authorities and material suppliers.

Staged Locally

Materials and crews are based in each region, not dispatched from a central hub. Emergency tarping and damage assessment can begin within hours of a qualifying storm event.

Insurance Coordination

Our teams document storm damage with carrier-formatted photo packages, scope-of-loss write-ups, and direct adjuster communication — reducing back-and-forth and claim delays.

Full Restoration Scope

From emergency tarping through material selection, installation, and final inspection — one regional team handles the complete project rather than handing off between crews.
